ISO 9001

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards.

ISO is a non-governmental organization that forms a bridge between the public and private sectors. On the one hand, many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government. On the other hand, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations.

Therefore, ISO enables a consensus to be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society.

Chas

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). They are dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS is a founder member and past Chair of Safety Schemes in Procurement – Competence Forum or SSIP.

Constructionskills

ConstructionSkills became the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in September 2003.It is a partnership between CITB-ConstructionSkills, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and CITB Northern Ireland (NI) and as such covers the whole industry from craft to the professions, the whole of the UK, and all of the issues that the industry faces. CITB-ConstructionSkills helps the industry in England, Scotland and Wales in all aspects of recruiting, training and qualifying the construction workforce. It also works with partners in government and beyond to improve the competitiveness of the industry as a whole.
